About Us
Welcome to O’Donovan’s Irish Pub, the first Irish Pub in Minnesota built entirely in Ireland and shipped piece by piece to the United States. The Pub’s authentic design was the first step in assuring all our guests enjoy the true essence of an Irish Pub.
Walk into this little piece of Ireland and you’ll feel you’ve been transported to the Emerald Isle itself. O’Donovan’s owner is a native Irishman and no expense was spared importing the entire decor from his native state.
Enjoy live folk music most nights and Authentic Irish dishes, especially those made from potato, are found throughout the extensive menu. Try colcannon mashed potatoes or the potato pancake called boxty. Fish and chips, Stout-based beef stew and salmon are also featured.

The McCaesar Salad Tender breast of boneless grilled chicken, sliced and served on a classic caesar salad.If you prefer the O'Caesar we will happily O'mit the chicken.
Wedge Salad 1/4 head lettuce wedge with blue cheese and bacon bits.
Southwest Chicken Salad Iceberg lettuce with chicken, corn, black beans, tomato, red onion, and tortilla chips. Served with chipotle sauce.
Cork Corned Beef Sandwich Tender thick slices of hot corned beef served on a delicious pretzel roll, with sweet onions and whole grain mustard. Add your choice of cheese. $1.50
Corned Beef and Cabbage Twins Cities favorite house cooked tender corned beef thickly sliced, served with boiled cabbage and mashed potatoes.
Corned Beef Poutine Crispy, golden chips smothered in melted white cheddar cheese, corned beef and sautéed onions. Served with a side of house made stout gravy.
Finnegan's Fry (Fish & Chips) Fresh filet of cod dipped in a light homemade batter, deep fried to a golden brown. Served with salt 'n' malt chips.
Shepherd's Pie Prime ground beef, fresh peas, onions, carrots and mushrooms in a savory sauce topped with browned mashed potatoes.
OD's Burger One half pound of prime beef served on a toasted egg bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle spear. Served with salt 'n' malt chips or tayto crisps. Add choice of cheese, fried onions, bacon or mushrooms. $1.50
Chicken Pot Pie Tender breast of chicken, pearl onions, peas, potatoes and carrots baked in a pie with delicious white sauce topped with a puffed pasty crust.
Chicken Curry This hot and spicy curry is served atop salt 'n' malt chips.

First time being here- I had the fish and chips (very big piece of fish) and the boyfriend has the Shepard’s Pie. Both meals were very good! If we didn’t live so far away we would be back (we were in town for the KISS concert). Will have to find another reason to come back. Oops my got a picture of my fish but here it is.

The food & atmosphere where fabulous, the server, not so much. It was before a Twins game & he looked like he was over his head. I would still go back there anytime! Great beer and unbelievable corned beef

Had a great time! Thanks to Sean, Halah, and of course Yaz for making our visit feel like we were everyday regulars! Great atmosphere! The food was great and the beer options were plenty! Felt very much at home and It became our home for the few days we were in town for our tour stop at Target Center. Look forward to stopping back in next time we are in town to see our new friends!

Their Irish breakfast is AMAZING. Super traditional. Their shepherd's pie is to die for. Great drinks, stellar staff. Friendly bartenders, fun waitresses. All around one of the BEST bars in Minneapolis!
